Prevailed in the father’s appeal of temporary child related issues during the duration of the pending relocation matter in Florida.
- Obtained Final Judgment for Termination of Parental Rights and Permanent Commitment and Disposition for the mother of minor children based on the manifest best interests of the minor children and Florida Statute 39 in which father’s rights were permanently and irrevocably terminated and Mother awarded sole custody of the children.
- Prevailed on appeal before the Third District Court of Appeals in vacating finding of criminal contempt against husband.
- Prevailed in maintaining confidentiality of Marital Settlement Agreement of prominent public celebrity figure in action brought by a major newspaper.
- Prevailed in strategic use of Hague Convention to locate and secure return of minor children taken by parent to foreign jurisdiction.
- Prevailed in United States District Court and upheld on appeal to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit the dismissal of defamation and various tort claims under the Fugitive Disentitlement Doctrine.
- Prevailed in having international dissolution of marriage adjudicated in the Florida courts; prevailed in defeating motion to abate pending foreign divorce proceeding before the Third District Court of Appeal.
- Prevailed before the Third District Court of Appeals in substantial payments pursuant to a Mediated Settlement Agreement being characterized as equitable distribution payments and not alimony payments; subject to discharge in bankruptcy and not subject to contempt.
