Sean Parys earned his Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School in 2017, following graduation from the University of Winnipeg. He began his career as an Assistant Public Defender where he worked in the felony trial division representing clients charged with crimes ranging from misdemeanors to felonies punishable by life in prison. He later worked at a boutique civil litigation firm in South Florida. Sean has significant experience and successes in both state and federal courts, and in both civil and criminal cases. Sean has been lead trial counsel and second chaired over 25 jury and bench trials.
Since joining Coffey Burlington, Sean is handling civil litigations involving theft of trade secrets, unfair and deceptive practices, civil conspiracies and related torts, criminal defense, complex federal sentencing and pre-indictment matters, internal investigations, and international and foreign government sanction proceedings.
